Born in Treen, St Levan, West Cornwall - John Chappell has spent his entire life either on, or working with, the sea.
Having seen it in all its moods and being fortunate to live close by some of the best coastal scenery in Cornwall,
John is able to capture the cliffs, sea and tides at their most opportune times.

The Photgraphs for viewing and sale on this site have been chosen to show the stunning scenery of the extreme
South West of Cornwall at its best. The images have been reduced for web viewing and carry the copyright details.

Those fortunate to be able to visit Porthgwarra are able to view the photographs for real and comment on their clarity,
impact and composition. Also on display and sale in the Round House Gallery, Sennen Cove and the Logan Rock Inn at Treen.

Purchasing will remove the copyright overprint and the photo will be pin sharp from a 10 MegaPixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens.
The images are offered in the 18x12 inch format giving much more visual impact than the more common A4 size,
while still being of reasonable price and manageable in the postal system.

By popular request photos are now also available in the size 12 x 8.5 inches (305 x 217mm) - slightly larger than A4 to fit a standard A4 mount.
